Anna Shcherbakova won gold in the individual competitions at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing (China). Additionally, the 20-year-old Russian is the 2021 world champion.
Since February 2022, Russian figure skaters have stopped being invited to international competitions due to the decision of the International Skating Union (ISU) to suspend Russia from international competitions. As a result, Anna in the 2022/2023 season only participated in the Russian Challenge competition, where she took third place.
