Real Madrid ready to start negotiations with Bayern over Davis

Munich cannot agree with the Canadian on a contract extension

Madrid Real ready to start negotiations with Bavaria by defender Alphonso Davis. The Blancos are monitoring the situation with the Canadian and have prepared an official opening offer.

Previously, Bayern offered the defender a new contract until 2029 and an annual salary of 11-13 million euros “dirty”, not counting bonuses. The Munich team insists on a quick response from the player, which the footballer did not like, as stated by his agent.

Davis isn’t ready to sign an extension right now. Negotiations with the club are taking place in a tense atmosphere. A final decision is expected to be made within a few weeks. The Canadian’s current contract runs until the summer of 2025; if the contract is not extended, Bayern will sell the player in the next transfer window.

The defender played 31 matches for Munich in all tournaments of the season. The 23-year-old Canadian has one goal and three assists.

Bayern are in second place in the Bundesliga, ten points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen. In the next match, the Munich team will play Borussia D on March 30.
