Chepurny and Stelmakh will also perform in Italy
Ukrainian men’s artistic gymnastics team decided on an application for European Championship 2024which will take place in Rimini, Italy.
The national team will be presented Oleg Vernyaev, Ilya Kovtun, Igor Radivilov, Nazar Chepurny And Radomir Stelmakh. Yuri Emelyanov, Vladislav Vlasenko, Ivan Zavada, Ivan Rudy and Svyatoslav Shved will perform in the youth competitions.
Compared to the 2023 European Championship, there are two changes in the Ukrainian national team’s application: Vernyaev and Chepurny replaced Nikita Melnikov and Panteliya Kolodia.
Let us recall that Kovtun, Vernyaev, Chepurny, Radivilov, Stelmakh and Kolodiy won a team license for the 2024 Olympics. The Ukrainian team will be able to enter five gymnasts at the 2024 Olympics, who will be able to compete on any apparatus at the discretion of the coaching staff.
The European Men’s Championships in Rimini will take place from April 24-28. Note that the Women’s Euro will take place in Italy on May 2-5.
