The forward with the Ukrainian national team qualified for Euro 2024
Mentor Valencia Ruben Baraja counts on the Ukrainian Roman Yaremchuk, who returned from the Ukrainian national team camp in high spirits.
“Yaremchuk and Mamardashvili are returning with good dynamics. Giorgi took part in a historic achievement for his country. Yaremchuk will also play at the European Championships. This should give them positive energy and Valencia should take advantage of it.”
Keeper Mamardashvili helped Georgia get its debut ticket to the European Championship. Yaremchuk had a strong performance in the March training camp, scoring a goal and an assist in the game against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ukraine, like Georgia, also qualified for Euro 2024.
It was previously reported that Valencia could re-loan Roman from the Belgian club. The Ukrainian plays for Bats on loan from Bruges. However, the agreement did not include the option to buy out the player.
The Ukrainian striker has scored four goals in 24 games for Valencia this campaign. At the same time, Yaremchuk’s goals helped his team defeat Villarreal in January (3:1), Almeria in February (2:1) and draw with Real Madrid in March (2:2).
Valencia is in eighth place in the La Liga standings. On March 30, Ruben Baraja’s team will host Mallorca.
