Russian diving champion Elizaveta Kanso said she was satisfied with the conditions of the training camp in China.

Earlier this week, the Russian team flew to China for a training camp, the team practices in an outdoor swimming pool.

— The swimming pool is great, large, more suitable for high diving. I really like the cases, the coating on the cases is good. The weather is fine, although humid, but the water is cold. It’s not cold to jump, it’s cold in the water.

I don’t really like food yet. The meat is either fresh or spicy-salty. The milk is terrible. I like kefir with bran or milk with cereals in the evening, or I just want to drink milk. I bought milk here – it was like starch diluted with sugar. I bought yogurt on the advice of Zhenya Kuznetsov, everyone in the team likes this yogurt. But it also seemed somehow artificial to me.

— How did the Eurasia Cup go?

— I was after an illness, I had a very sore throat. So the start was not in top form, I didn’t skip what I needed for the competition. I wasn’t grossly wrong, but there were stains everywhere. It pissed me off. In fact, many people were sick during these competitions. Of course, I didn’t fall below the plinth, but the beginning was a version of training and work – I didn’t even score 300 points.

— On social networks, we see guys in China jumping from a height of 20 meters. Why haven’t you decided?

– There is an opportunity – we have to try, especially since we have Igor Semashko here, who encouraged the guys. Sasha Bondar and Ilya Molchanov decided to jump from 20 m. But it’s really scary, I was heading towards the edge – really scary. Plus, the water is cold and that makes getting in even more difficult, it hurts your arms and hands. If I finish and they allow it, maybe I’ll try it. Previously, the coach did not allow it – he was afraid for me. But at the end of the course, maybe I will make up my mind! I won’t do it for now, besides we will have an estimate, a mini-competition with Chinese athletes,” Kanso told .
