Team G2 Esports became the last semi-finalist of the tournament PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 By CS2. Samurai won the quarter final match MOUZ with a score of 2:0 (Inferno – 13:9, Vertigo – 13:6).

On the second map, the match was suspended for more than 20 minutes due to fans running onto the stage. During the detention of one of the violators of public order, the main trophy of the tournament was broken. Reportedthat a group of spectators protested against one of the gambling sites with CS:GO and CS2 skins.

In the 1/2 finals, G2 Esports will play against Natus Vincere. Team Vitality and FaZe Clan will meet in the second semi-final match.

The playoff matches of the tournament in Copenhagen are held at the Royal Arena in the Best of 3 format (up to two wins). The grand final is scheduled for March 31st.

PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 is the first ever CS2 major. The prize fund is $1,250,000.
