“Everything is real for a person” – a coach about figure skater Dikidzhi’s plans to make a quadruple jump before the end of summer

Oleg Tataurov, coach Vladislav Dikidji commenting on his skater’s argument with Alexander Galliamov told that everything is real to a person.

Earlier, figure skater Alexander Gallyamov said that Dikidzhi bet with him that he would do a quadruple jump by the end of the summer.

— What young people won’t do in sport! We are not yet studying this jump. Is it possible to learn during the summer? For a person, everything is real,” Tataurov told .

Earlier in March, 19-year-old Dikiji posted a video on his Telegram channel in which he cleanly performs a 4.5-turn axel in training. The first skater in history who managed to perform this element cleanly at official competitions was American figure skater Ilya Malinin.

Dikiji won silver at the Russian Championship in the 2023/24 season, won two stages of the country’s Grand Prix and became third in the series finals.

Russian skaters are not allowed to compete under the auspices of the ISU due to the situation in Ukraine.
