Hidalgo also promised that Parisians would welcome Ukrainian athletes as heroes.
The IOC chief said he had managed to persuade Ukraine and Russia not to boycott the Paris Olympics.
Remember that the Paris Olympic Games will be held from July 26 to August 11. Russians and Belarusians enjoyed neutral status with a number of restrictions.
