The Ukrainian replaced Manuel Charra a week before the fight
Ukrainian boxer Igor Shevadzutsky (10–2, 8 KO) lost to Bulgarian heavyweight Kubrat Pulev (31-3, 14 KO) by unanimous decision.
The fight took place in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, at the Sofia Arena. All three judges recorded the victory of the Bulgarian boxer with the same score of 117:111. Pulev won the WBA International heavyweight belt.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian replaced WBA Regular champion Manuel Charra (34-4, 20 KOs) in the fight. The German boxer underwent surgery on his biceps, which is why he was unable to enter the ring against Pulev. The Ukrainian has just over one week left to prepare.
Shevadzutsky had his previous fight in February, defeating German representative Edonis Berisha (7-1, 6 KOs). Thus, Shevadzutsky was rehabilitated for the defeat by Martin Bakole, which he suffered in April last year.
