As part of the PhosAgro final of the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Cup, a free sprint will take place on April 2 for women and men.

In the men’s sprint competition, Alexander Bolshunov is the leader with 300 points. The second place is occupied by Sergey Ardashev (235), the third by Savely Korostelev (213). Among women, Anastasia Faleeva takes first place (285), Alena Baranova is second (267) and Elizaveta Pantrina is third (224).
All leaders will start the competition on Tuesday. A total of 83 athletes qualified for the men’s sprint and 79 skiers will compete in the women’s prologue.
In the general standings of the Russian Cup, Bolshunov (913 points) also leads among men, and Veronika Stepanova (688) among women.
