The men’s free pursuit race will take place during the PhosAgro Russian Cup cross-country ski final on Wednesday, April 3.

Ivan Gorbunov will be the first to cover the 15 km distance, followed by sprint winner Sergei Ardashev, who will start the race with a gap of 6 seconds. Dmitry Puzanov (+10 seconds) will start the pursuit from third place. Three-time Olympic champion Alexandre Bolshunov will start eighth, 24 seconds behind the leader.
Bolshunov is the leader in the Russian Cup distance ranking with 623 points. Savely Korostelev (487) is in second place, Ardashev is third (426).
The Russian Cup final will end on April 7.
