The Ukrainian lost to Irina Bara from Romania in three sets
Ukrainian tennis player Katarina Zavatskaya dropped out of the tournament WTA 250 in the capital of Colombia Bogota.
Katarina met with Irina Bara from Romania in the first round. The three-set match lasted almost two and a half hours.
Zavatskaya confidently won the first set. The second game was left to the Romanian tennis player. In the decisive set, Zavatskaya lost with a score of 0:4, returned two breaks, but ultimately lost, losing a match point on her serve.
Katarina qualified for the main draw. The Ukrainian first defeated the representative of Mexico, Victoria Rodriguez, and then beat Elvina Kalieva, who competed under the US flag.
Earlier, Yulia Starodubtseva dropped out of the tournament in Bogota. The Ukrainian lost to the former fifth racket of the world, Sara Errani from Italy, in two sets.
