The 2024 Games in Paris are not the Olympics, the very essence has been replaced and all points of the Olympic Charter have been violated, head coach of the Russian swimming team Sergei Chepik told .

Earlier, the president of the All-Russian Swimming Federation, Vladimir Salnikov, told that for swimmers the question of participation in the Paris Games was “a page turned.”

— Do you generally follow the news regarding admission to the Games? Or are you no longer paying attention to this process?

– I don’t know. Have you read the Olympic Charter? All points are violated there. What games are we talking about? These are not the Olympic Games. The very essence has been replaced. This is a competition between NATO countries and their cronies, in poster language. If we’re not invited to a birthday party, we don’t go. Unless we want to get caught. What is the purpose of this? – Chepik told .

The Paris Olympic Games will take place from July 26 to August 11.
