Three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov won first place in the 15 km freestyle pursuit race at the PhosAgro Russian Cup final in Kirovsk.
Bolshunov, who had the eighth starting number, posted a result of 34 minutes 27.3 seconds. The second was the winner of the Games, Sergei Ustyugov (5th starting position; +16.3 seconds). Egor Mitroshin finished third (7th starting position; +29.9 seconds), the athlete turned out to be the strongest at the finish line among seven skiers.
The Russian Cup final in the Murmansk region will end on Sunday.
