Ukrainian Daria Snigur lost in the first round of the WTA 250 tournament in Prague.

Our tennis player lost in two sets to Victoria Tomova from Bulgaria.

Having lost the starting four games, the Ukrainian managed to reduce the opponent’s advantage to one game, but then she failed to equalize the score twice in games on her serve. At the end of the second set, Tomova made two breaks, ending the meeting from the third match point.

Snigur played in the main draw of the WTA tournament for the second time. In June, she overcame the qualifying barrier in Nottingham and lost in the first round to eventual finalist Alison Risk-Amritraj.

Recall that Snigur will play in the qualification of the last Grand Slam tournament of this season – the US Open.
