Olympic cross-country ski champion Tatiana Sorina said that the past season was very difficult for her and expressed her gratitude to the medical staff for the work done.
On Tuesday it became known that after the Russian Cup final in Kirovsk, Sorina underwent surgery.
— To describe the season as difficult is to say nothing. In December, I dreamed of starting skiing, the coach forbade me to even think about the result at the Spartakiad. But, thank God, we made it through and were able to come back and continue this season. “Thank you to all doctors and medical specialists for their work and professionalism,” Sorina wrote on the social network.
In the overall standings of the Russian Cup at the end of the 2023/24 season, Sorina took 14th place.
