40 teams are planned to participate in the league, competitions will begin in the fall of 2024
Launch officially announced Ukrainian Amateur Hockey League (UAHL)which was created with the support Ukrainian Hockey Federation and will operate in the form of a public organization.
Reportedly, the UAHL is being created with the “mission of building a unified vertical of amateur hockey in Ukraine and introducing the best world sports standards.”
The UAHL will unite teams from all over Ukraine. It is planned that a total of 40 teams will take part in the league, which will be divided into six divisions – Kyiv, North, West, Center, South and Kiev region. Currently, 29 teams from various regions of the country have already joined the UAHL.
One of the league’s activities will be helping hockey players. In particular, it is planned to organize targeted collections and conduct various public activities to support the defenders of our country.
The UAHL championship will begin in the fall of 2024. Interested amateur clubs can join the project at league website.
