Team “Russia-1” became the winner of the all-around team competition at the rhythmic gymnastics tournament “Crystal Rose” in Minsk. Dina Averina, Arina Averina, Maria Borisova, Anna Popova played for the team. Dina and Arina did not take first place in any exercise, their best result is second place in clubs (Arina).
– I would not say that today there were the most insidious species. If you look at it like that, all kinds are like that. New programs, it seems to me, suit both my soul and my energy. Everything is frozen, it seems to me, just under my character, made for me.
– Do you feel the nerve of the competition?
– Perhaps a minimum felt. Not in the same way, of course, as at the World and European Championships, but the excitement is felt.
Do you have enough competition? Or do you want to relax more?
– No, I want to play! There is not enough time for competition, we train more than we perform. In the past and the penultimate year, there were a lot more competitions than now.
Is there anything you are satisfied with today?
‘I only content myself with the puff pirouette in the clubs. All.
“Maybe something else if you look?”
– No (laughs).
Are you always so critical of yourself or does it come with age?
– No, it’s not with age, it depends on the person. The more you criticize yourself, the better off you become. And if you’re always saying, “Oh, what a good boy I am, everything went well,” then nothing will happen.
– Is it more important for you to satisfy yourself or to get a good result in the tournament?
– Give joy and emotions to the public, to yourself and to the coaches. It seems to me that now I do not look at the results, but how I like them, ”Averina told reporters.
Belarusian Alina Gornosko became the winner of the individual all-around at the Crystal Rose tournament. The second place was taken by the Russian woman Lala Kramarenko, the third – by Arina Averina.
Since the spring, Russian and Belarusian representatives of all member sports of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) have been suspended from competition until further notice.
