A Ukrainian athlete has died defending the Kherson region from Putin’s occupiers.
The attackers killed another Ukrainian athlete. On Wednesday, April 20, in an unequal battle with the Putin horde, which defends the Kherson region, 36-year-old Ivan Bidnyak, the master of Ukraine’s sports, was killed by a bullet. This was reported by the NOC Branch of Ukraine in the Lviv region. On the Dnieper, Ivan left a wife and a six -year -old son.
It should be noted that Bidnyak was a silver medalist of the 2013 European Championship in shooting from small caliber weapons. In that tournament, he also won third place in the team tournament along with Roman Bondaruk and Alexander Petriv.
“He came from the Dnipropetrovsk region, when a large -scale offensive started, he came home from work in Europe and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He died from an enemy bullet while conducting a combat mission,” said a close Bednyak’s friends on social networks.
