Martin Malyutin won the 200-meter freestyle at the Russian Swimming Championships, which are held in Kazan.
Malyutin showed a result of 1 minute 45.86 seconds in the final. Mikhail Dovgalyuk (1:46.98) took second place, Vladislav Reznichenko (1:47.43) closed the top three.
Daria Rogozhinova became the best in the 400 meter medley (4:44.77). Victoria Blinova was second (4:45.24), Irina Krivonogova (4:47.07) third.
In the men’s 4×100 meter freestyle relay, the St. Petersburg team won (Egor Kornev, Vasily Kukushkin, Alexey Pavlov, Alexander Shchegolev, result – 3 minutes 14.24 seconds). The Novosibirsk region team (Daniil Markov, Arseny Desyatov, Mikhail Antipov, Maxim Ablovatsky, 3:16.30) is second, the Moscow team (Mikhail Dovgalyuk, Andrey Zhilkin, Vladislav Grinev, Alexander Nazarchuk, 3:18.38) took third place.
The Tatarstan women’s team, consisting of Sofia Dyakova, Daria Ustinova, Anastasia Kolpakova and Valeria Salamatina, won the 4×200 meter freestyle relay (8.03.00). The second place was won by the team from the Voronezh region (Anastasia Saratova, Alexandra Tsvetkovskaya, Evgenia Sadovnikova, Daria Klepikova, 8.04.52). The St. Petersburg team (Yana Shakirova, Daria Surushkina, Alexandra Kuznetsova, Daria Ustinova, 8.05.84) is third.
