Ingulets ‒ Epicenter – 1:0 FC Khust – Kremin – 1:0
Victoria – Prykarpattya ‒ 0:1 Metalist ‒ Dinaz ‒ 2:0

About the best personalities and the main figures of the tour are here.

Goalkeeper – Alexey Palamarchuk (Ingulets)

Epicenter broke its long unbeaten streak, but in a decent and equal fight. Moreover, five shots hit the hosts’ goal – and if one of them was stopped on the line by defender Chenbai, then all the others were parried by goalkeeper Palamarchuk. Two strikes from Sten, one each from Kravchuk and Lyashenko. The pressure from Kamenets was constant, only ex-Petrovite Kravchuk shot at Ingulets’ goal four times, but one of the leaders managed to win with a minimal score.

  • Best in Elimination Group: Bogdan Shukhman (Gornyak-Sport)

EtcFirst defender – Andrey Bey (Nyva, Ternopil)

This is far from the best tour for right-backs, but I would like to highlight one point of interest. For Niva this spring, winger Bey systematically plays right back. Of course, he works well in attack: he constantly combined with Kazak, Golub and Volokhaty, and in the 74th minute he almost scored a goal that could have become one of the most beautiful on the tour. At the same time, Andrei is quite convincing in terms of defensive performance: two dozen tackles, rebounds and interceptions, an advantage in aerial combat (Bey won all his balls) and active work on the flank. Niva is not pleased with the result yet, but the bright play of Bey, Riznyk, Golub, and Zin is encouraging.

  • Best in the Champion Group: Yuri Kozyrenko (Ingulets)

Tsecentral defender – Vladislav Baboglo (Carpathians)

To be honest, it was expected that Left Bank would create many more chances in front of the leader’s goal in their home match. However, along with the shortcomings of the hosts themselves, it is worth noting the strong play of the Carpathian defense. The same Baboglo acted clearly, without risk, to be sure. If he entered into martial arts, he tried to win them. If he gave passes, then with the slightest probability of losing the ball. In his own half, Vladislav generally acted almost flawlessly, and he could also score himself – Mekhaniv helped out the Kiev team.

  • Best in Elimination Group: Andrey Zin (Niva, Ternopil)

TseCentral defender – Evgeniy Misyura (Kudrovka-Niva)

Zero on the road from FSK Mariupol is a difficult but acceptable result for the debutant club of the First League. It turned out to be a draw in the fight – in particular, the defenders played well. Misyura, for example, won a lot of fights for position and the ball. Attacks often started from him, and in terms of pass accuracy, Evgeniy reached an indicator closer to the top division. In addition to performing a good defensive setup, Misyura traditionally went to the opponent’s goal, which was appropriate. Could score twice.

  • Best entry in the Elimination Group: Gabriel Gomez (Metalhead)

Lefirst defender – Maxim Melnichuk (Ingulets)

Ingulets’ flanks worked properly, the Kozyrenko-Kozak and Melnichuk-Bogunov combinations actually ironed out their competitors. What’s interesting is that they not only loaded the serves and crosses, but also acted with creative initiative. Like Melnichuk, who moved deep into the center and, after Kozak’s flank throw, received it, worked on it and shot into the goal with his third touch. In addition to the winning goal, Maxim made several highly promising passes.

  • Best in Elimination Group: Valentine Koreshkov (Podolia)

Tsecentral midfielder – Gleb Savchuk (Podolia)

We have an interesting situation with the best defensive player. The fact is that Savchuk played in this position in the first half, and well. At the turning point, when after conceding a goal, Podillya leveled the game. Later, the veteran Siminin was injured, Prikhna came into the center of the field for the first time after the injury, and Gleb went to the place of the right full-back. And he played quite reliably. Of course, we also credit Savchuk with the Khmelnytsky team’s third goal – an arcing header that put an end to the match. We will evaluate the long-term prospects of a player from the Carpathians and Rukh school against opponents of a higher level, but now it is worth noting his contribution.

  • Best in the Champion Group: Vitaly Koltsov (Ingulets)

Etcav midfielder – Eugene Podlepenets (Carpathians)

Again, for the second round in a row, we are talking about the decisive role of Podlepenets for the leader – in these two matches he has two goals and two assists! In the capital, where the Left Bank gives way very rarely, the Carpathians interrupted the successful streak of one of the most successful pursuers, which lasted from mid-October. Evgeniy scored the winning goal, shooting with one touch without a chance for the goalkeeper from a pass from Kostenko, and then he himself took out Yan for a shot, but he missed a potential assist with a shot into the frame of the goal.

  • Best in Elimination Group: Maxim Kulish (Podolia)

Atoffensive midfielder – Vasyl Tsyutsyura (Prykarpattya)

The Sumy match suffered greatly due to pauses due to prolonged air raid raids, and only the presence of experienced leaders helped the teams maintain the pace and keep their game plan in place. For Ivano-Frankivsk, such a player is Tsyutsyura. He intensified the game in different periods – before anxiety, after anxiety. He issued a very clever in-plan pass to Kos, who, in a brilliant scorer’s style, squeezed through the redoubts and scored the winning goal for Victoria.

  • Best in Elimination Group: Dmitry Shcherbak (SK Poltava)

Lefirst midfielder – Bogdan Shmigelsky (SK Poltava)

In the fall, Shmigelsky was injured and spent some time on treatment and recovery. In the spring, the coaching staff carefully brought him to the game, in the match with Agribusiness for the first time they allowed him to play the full second half. And for the first time in five rounds, Bogdan showed effective action, after just six minutes on the field he assisted Odaryuk’s equalizer, and later, from a free kick, he fed Shcherbak, whose goal brought SK Poltava a strong-willed victory. The benefit in the match allowed Shmigelsky to single-handedly lead the assist table.

  • Best in Elimination Group: Daniil Dmitriev (Gornyak-Sport)

Onfalling – Bogdan Kobzar (Podolia)

Kobzar is not new to the First League – he played for Volyn and after returning from the UPL for Dinaz. But he has not yet scored for the Khmelnytsky team. In the match with the Cossacks, Bogdan played as a pure forward – without significant involvement in the fight, but with a quick reaction to passes and rebounds. In total, he shot at goal four times, leveling the score with Snizhko’s pass. By the way, after one of his strikes, Podolia earned a corner, from which Savchuk put an end to the confrontation with Metallurg.

  • Best in the Champion Group: Oleg Kos (Prykarpattya)

Onfalling – Evgeny Ryazantsev (Metalist)

In the spring, Ryazantsev has scoring chances in every round – and not only wastes them, but also creates a lot himself. In the match with Dinaz, who in the selection of players in the spring became one of the most experienced teams, Evgeniy played maturely, made a difference in individual episodes and, of course, could have scored more. But after a long pass from the defender, Porokh got into a striking position and opened the scoring with his left foot from a sharp corner. Ryazantsev is exceptionally active and productive in the second stage.

  • Best in Elimination Group: Vasily Palagnyuk (Bukovyna)

Tour coach – Miron Markevich (Carpathians)

Best coach of the 4th round of the second stage of the First League. Illustration pfl.ua Karpaty won the seventh match in a row, and against an opponent who is a direct and immediate competitor in the fight for promotion. Having largely departed from the usual style, largely working on leveling the opponent, the Lviv team managed to beat Left Bank on a foreign field – an opponent who had previously lost at home at a professional level only at that time to a representative of the elite – Olimpik and Chernomorets in the Ukrainian Cup, as well as SK Poltava at the first stage. Thanks to the procession without losing points since the first half of November, Karpaty guaranteed themselves a place no lower than fourth – and will definitely fight for the UPL, at least in the playoffs.

Joker of the tour – Dmitry Diyanchuk (FC Khust)

Diyanchuk replaced Shevchuk in the 59th minute, and in the 78th minute he decided the fate of the match with Kremen. Dmitry boldly intervened in the passing of the goalkeeper and opponent’s defenders, got himself a shot from 18 meters away and sent it right to the target. This is Diyanchuk’s debut goal in the First League (in the 13th match) and for FC Khust as a whole (in the 14th). And immediately victorious!

  • SportArena statistics: 13 league matches, 1 goal.

Best young player of the tour – Daniil Tuzenko (Gornyak-Sport)

The 20-year-old midfielder was one step away from the UPL – he played for the youth teams of Zarya and Vorskla, but only managed to play one match. And right after the start of the season, he went on loan to Gornyk-Sport, which he spends with great benefit. Tuzenko scored three goals, and all important ones – to the leader of Group “B” Ingulets, in a hot derby Kremlin and now Bukovyna – the favorite of the “Elimination” group.

  • Sport Arena statistics: 14 league matches, 3 goals.
Goal of the round – Valentin Koreshkov (Podlia → Metallurg)

There are a lot of good goals – both well played (example: Podlepenets from the Carpathians) and spontaneous ones (example: Diyanchuk from FC Khust). But we liked the somewhat clumsy, but unusual goal of the Khmelnytsky flanker Koreshkov. We quote the report: “Valentin passed Yudin and Khussin at speed and hit the far corner with an accurate billiard shot.”

You can watch the goal on video from 2:42
