All plans for the further development of the Malinovka ski center are maintained and will be gradually implemented, despite the decision of businessman Vladimir Butorin to no longer sponsor ski races in the Arkhangelsk region, a the region’s Minister of Sports, Alexei Aksenov, told .

Previously, the ULK group of companies, whose CEO is Butorin, announced that it would no longer sponsor ski races in the Arkhangelsk region.

— The management of the ULK group of companies has decided to withdraw from the supervisory board and all agreements on SSHOR ULK and Malinovka (Kononovskaya village). All real estate in Malinovka, owned by the ULK group, was transferred free of charge to the government of the Arkhangelsk region.

In this regard, I would like to emphasize that all plans for the further development of the Malinovka ski center are maintained and will be gradually implemented. The sports school for children and young people will also be preserved and will continue to operate on a daily basis. All education and training sessions are taking place according to schedule.

The winter sports season in Malinovka is now over. In the near future, ski center specialists will begin to prepare the roller ski track for the summer sports season. The first training camp of the Russian national team will also take place in Malinovka in June,” Aksenov told .
