Ukraine U-18 national hockey team won over Denmark in the second round Division IA on World Championship 2024 – 3:1.

The factor of their home walls did not help the Danes – the division matches are held in Frederikshavn. The first period ended with the score 0:0, and then the blue-yellows proved their superiority.

Nikita Kulikov opened the scoring in the second period. The hosts soon equalized, but then Kulikov scored a double. The final score in the final twenty minutes was scored by Daniil Shulga.

The two teams in the sextet scored maximum points after two rounds. Ukraine is in second place, behind Germany on goal difference. In the next round, the leaders will fight each other on April 17. Let us remind you that in February at the Vlado Dzurilla Memorial, the Ukrainians beat their German peers in an enchanting match with 11 goals (6:5).
