Russian Milana Stepanova shared her emotions on after winning the 200 meter backstroke at the Russian Swimming Championships in Kazan.
In the final swim, 15-year-old Stepanova achieved a result of 2 minutes 11.37 seconds.
“I’m surprised myself, honestly.” I thought there would be third or second place. I tried not to think about the first one. But deep down, of course, I wanted it.
