Choreographer Ilya Averbukh in a conversation with , he said that the sports couple’s short program Anastasia Michina /Alexander Galliamov turned out to be quite interesting for the upcoming season.

Earlier, Gallyamov reported on social media that Averbukh was working with the couple on a production for the upcoming season.

— The offer to work with the couple came from Tamara Nikolaevna Moskvina, I am grateful. We talked about this for a long time with Tamara Nikolaevna, but it didn’t work out. I came to St. Petersburg when it was the first “approach of the projectile”; for two days we worked with Nastya and Sasha, they were very open to the creative process. So far we have agreed not to reveal any secrets, but the work turned out to be very interesting. It was my first experience working with Mishina/Gallyamov, there are few athletes left with whom I have not worked, among them. They presented a short program. Tamara Moskvina’s club is a very good cool base.

— You talk about the program in the past tense. Is the work completed?

— At present, the backbone of the program has been laid. But I will come back to correct and finalize everything.

— Will Mishina/Gallyamov perform at your show in St. Petersburg?

— Yes, the show will take place very soon, on the 5th. Not only this couple will participate, but also Tarasova/Morozov, Stepanova/Bukin, Alexey Yagudin, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva. But they will not broadcast a new program there, they will present their demo program, ”Averbukh told .

Last season, Mishina and Gallyamov won the Spartakiad of the Strongest and the Russian championship. They are also world and European champions, bronze medalists at the 2022 Olympic Games.
