Three-time Olympic cross-country ski champion Alexander Bolshunov winners of the Games Alexei Chervotkin And Denis Spitsov Olympic medalist Ivan Yakimushkin entered the preliminary composition of the group Yuri Borodavko for the 2024/25 season, reports the press service of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR).
The Presidium of the FLGR approved on Thursday the list of candidates for the national team and the composition of the groups. In the near future, the project will be submitted for approval to the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.
The group also includes the 2024 Russian champion Ermil Vokuev . In March, the athlete won a gold medal in the individual 10 km race and interrupted Bolshunov’s winning streak in individual races, which totaled 23 starts.
Additionally, Artem Maltsev, Nikita Denisov, Egor Mitroshin, Alena Baranova and Maria Istomina will train with Borodavko and Artem Zhmurko.
