On August 12-13, in the mountains of Bashkiria, in the Beloretsky district, the annual international sports festival “Malidak” will be held, which will bring together participants from 45 regions of Russia and other countries. This year, the Malidak Ultra race will be held with the status of the national level – the Russian trail championship (difficult distance 41 km).
The difficult distance is one of the key distances with a length of 41 kilometers with an ascent of 1900 meters. Athletes will have to overcome three mountain peaks: Yalangas, Kirel and Framboise. Long climbs, technically difficult sections and deserted places – this is one of the toughest races in Russia. Cover – ground, kurumnik, forest paths. There are also small technically complex rock elements, the fords.
The project organizers have also prepared 10 distances for participants from beginner to professional level. As part of the festival, cross-regional Nordic/Nordic walking competitions will be organised, and a children’s race awaits young participants. For connoisseurs of Bashkir hospitality, competitions will be held that combine sport and love for the Bashkir national drink – Kumys Mile.
A separate event will be a family festival in the city of departure: fun games, competitions and master classes for children and adults, an open-air concert program for guests, a conference hall.
