St. Petersburg teams won the combined men’s and women’s relay races in the Chechen Republic in Kazan

The St. Petersburg team became the first in the men’s combined relay at the Russian swimming championship, which took place in Kazan.

The last day of the competition Miron Lifintsev , Kirill Prigoda , Roman Shevlyakov And Yegor Kornev won gold in 3 minutes 29.59 seconds. Representatives of the Moscow team (Kliment Kolesnikov, Danil Semyaninov, Andrey Zhilkin, Vladislav Grinev) came second, losing 4.7 seconds to the winners. Third place went to the Tatarstan team (Nikolai Zuev, Eduard Valiakhmetov, Andrey Minakov and Alexey Merzlyakov), which was 6.5 seconds behind the St. Petersburg team.

In the women’s combined relay, the gold medals were won by the St. Petersburg team of Vlada Eggi, Evgenia Chikunova , Svetlana Chimrova and Yana Shakirova (3.59.94). Second place went to the Moscow team (4.04.46), third place to the Tatarstan team (4.06.41).

Arina Surkova took first place in the 50 meter freestyle with a result of 24.55 seconds. Maria Kameneva took second place (24.56), Daria Trofimova took third (24.95).
