On social networks, the athlete posted a photo from a hospital room with a bandaged hand. She did not specify the nature of the operation.
– The operation completed successfully. Many thanks to surgeon Vladimir Mikhailovich Grishin and all doctors. Thank you to everyone who worried about me, because this is my first operation and I was very scared and worried. Now comes the restoration. I hope I will be back in action soon,” Averina wrote.
In February, 25-year-old Dina and her twin sister Arina Averina announced the end of their sports careers.
