Coach-director of mixed pairs of the Russian national team Gana Maksimova spoke about the compositions of the technical and free programs of the Russian Synchronized Swimming Championship.

The Russian Championship begins on April 24 in Yekaterinburg.

— This time we brought six programs. Sasha Maltsev will perform two solo programs – “Prisoner of Desires” and “Ode to Life”, technically modified. Zakhar Trofimov will perform in the technical program “Spanish Dance” to music from the film “Zorro”. Her personal trainer Olga Mikhailenkova from the Ekran club was with us during the last training camp.

We decided to put Zakhara in a mixed duet with Olesya Platonova, they will perform a free program “Phantom Goals”. For the Russian Championship, we changed the connections. Maya Gurbanberdieva/Alexander Maltsev will perform in the technical program to the music of Vivaldi. That is, they will both perform in one program of the Russian Championship.

Zakhar Trofimov has a chance to become an international master of sports if he performs two mixed duet programs. We turned to the coaches and found a 15-year-old athlete, Serafima Yakovleva, who was a little short of getting into the junior team. Her personal trainers are Tatyana Ivanova, Oksana Burdynyuk. Zakhar and Serafima have been training together for less than a month, a completely fresh duo. They work pretty well for such a short time.
