Figure skater Fursova told how Dikidzhi performed three quadruple axels before her eyes

Single skater Lyudmila Fursova said that the first performance of Vladislav Dikidzhi’s quadruple axel took place before his eyes and he successfully did it three times in a row.

Dikidzhi won silver at the Russian Championship last season. In March, he posted a successful performance of a quadruple axel on social media.

— We look: Vlad does a triple axel. Then he says it’s easy to twist, and now he’s going to try something. Suddenly he does a quadruple – on the first try. We were shocked that Vlad, the second in the world, did this. They just couldn’t believe it – a lot of emotions at one point. We were very happy, of course. And then Vlad performed the quadruple axel two more times before our eyes, but it worked the first time, ”reports the correspondent of , reporting Fursova’s words.

Fursova won silver at the All-Russian figure skating competition “For Prizes of the St. Petersburg Figure Skating Federation”, with a score of 195.11 points.

— I’m not very happy with my program. I was worried. It’s a shame about the flip, because I haven’t fallen for a long time, I could have left. I was the last to leave; the physical wait was hard. I don’t follow the performance of my rivals, because then all kinds of thoughts come to my mind. Overall, my season went well. Yes, everything didn’t go well, but I’m happy to have had the best performances in the most important starts. I’m happy to have arrived at the Russian Championship, the Spartakiad.

The arrival of Arina Kshetskaya gives motivation. We received it well. Oleg Stanislavovich [Татауров] always radiates confidence in each of his students, pronounces important words before performances. I don’t know what he says to others, but I think it’s his attitude that helps us all.
