The competition in the capital of Sweden will be held on June 2
Ukrainian athlete Yaroslav Maguchikh confirmed its participation in the stage Diamond League in Stockholm.
“Sweden is one of my favorite places in the world to jump and it always brings back good memories. I am confident that these competitions will give me the right preparation for competing at the Paris Olympics.”
“Diamond League competitions are very important for my preparation. The tournament in Stockholm is an important step before the European Championships, where I need to defend last year’s gold. I fondly remember winning Stockholm 2021 with one of my best results ever – 2.03. This will be my fifth time jumping on stage in Sweden.”
The event in the capital of Sweden became the first stage of the Diamond League 2024, in which Maguchikh confirmed her participation. Before Stockholm, high jump competitions will also take place in Doha and Rabat; Yaroslava has not yet announced whether she will compete in them.
The 2024 Diamond League stage in Stockholm will take place on June 2. Maguchikh will next compete at the 2024 European Championships in Rome, which begins on June 7.
