Russian swimmer Kirill Martynyshev became the winner of the international Swim Wars competition in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) over a distance of 1500 meters freestyle.
The Russian’s result was 15 minutes 14.71 seconds. Bosnian Filip Kuruzovic finished second (16:07.89), third was Bosnian Djordje Tadic (17:09.32).
The competition in Banja Luka will take place on April 27 and 28. For many leaders of the Russian team, this is the first international competition abroad since 2022.
