Russian swimmer Andrei Minakov became the winner of the international Swim Wars competition in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) over a distance of 200 meters butterfly.
Minakov clocked 2 minutes 2.04 seconds in the final. Croatian Michel Brassard (2.07.08) took second place and Filip Kuruzovic from Bosnia and Herzegovina (2.09.17) finished third.
Russian Svetlana Chimrova won the same discipline among women (2:11.66), Slovenians Hana Sekuti (2:14.71) and Lena Fortuna (2:30.84) finished second and third.
The competition in Banja Luka will take place on April 27 and 28. For many leaders of the Russian team, this is the first international competition abroad since 2022.
