Athletistic/ Others. Two-time Olympic biathlon champion Dmitri Vasiliev has reacted to the fact that the IOC will punish the Russians for the Z symbol at the 2024 Olympic Games.
“Bach transformed the IOC into a body manipulated to achieve his goals with Western states. It is naive to be surprised by such things. They have lost common sense,” Vasiliev told SE.
Previously, the IOC allowed Russians to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris with neutral status, subject to a number of restrictions.
Before that, the media wrote that French intelligence services recommended abandoning the opening ceremony of the Games for security reasons.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11.
