At the same time, the second Ukrainian team became the bronze medalist of the competition
Ukrainian women’s national basketball team 3×3 won an international tournament held in Ismaning, a suburb of Munich (Germany).
The coaching staff formed two teams to participate in the tournament. Both Ukraine and Ukraine-2 confidently won the qualifying groups and reached the semi-finals. There, the second Ukrainian team lost to the Sommerschlussverkauf team (8:14), but the main Ukrainian team reached the final and there they dealt with the offender of their compatriots – 21:10.
The gold of the tournament was won by Kristina Filevich, Oksana Mollova and Miriam Uro-Nile as part of the first Ukrainian team.
Ukraine-2, represented by Vita Gorobets, Anzhelika Lyashko and Yulia Musienko, took the final third place.
This competition became for our athletes one of the stages of preparation for the final stage of qualification for the 2024 Olympics, during which three licenses for the 2024 Olympics will be competed. The event between 16 teams will take place from May 16 to 19 in Debrecen (Hungary).
A total of 8 teams will compete at the Olympics. The 2024 Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11.
