President of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (RFSR) Elena Vyalbe said that Alina Pekletsova I could have shown completely different results last season if I had corrected my running technique.
Pekletsova took 10th place in the FLGR women’s rankings at the end of last season. The 18-year-old skier won several medals at the stages of the Russian Cup, and also became second in the skiathlon and first in the relay at the national championship.
— For us, technology is 50% of success. For example, all season I told Alina Pekletsova that she would run completely differently if she corrected her running technique.
