Midfielder Betis Isco recognized best player in La Liga in April.
The midfielder and his team last month won victories over Celta (2:1), Valencia (2:1) and drew in the derby with Sevilla (1:1). Isco played a key role in his team’s matches, scoring a goal and providing one assist.
The Betis midfielder received the Footballer of the Month award for the first time this season. In the fan vote, Isco beat out Iago Aspas, Youssef En-Nesyri, Savinho and Vinicios Junior.
Betis are seventh in La Liga with 49 points. In the next match, Isco’s team will play away against Osasuna on May 5.
