Athletistic/ Figure skating. Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Irina Rodnina spoke about the recent scandalous statement by Russian coach Alexander Zhulin.
Before that, the specialist said that some Russian figure skaters went to exhibitions “half drunk”. Rodnina thinks this is impossible in singles and pairs skating.
“It’s impossible in single and pairs skating. There may be injuries. If Zhulin says that, maybe let him give names and surnames?” — Rodnina told Sport24.
Since the end of February 2022, Russian skaters have been suspended from international competitions.
