Already 95 athletes from Ukraine have qualified for the Olympics
Ukraine obtained the first license for 2024 Olympic Games in archery. Conquered her Mikhail Usachreaching the semi-finals of the men’s qualifying tournament in Essen (Germany).
Mikhail reached the quarter finals based on the qualifying results, after which he beat the titled Italian Mauro Nespoli with a score of 6:4. Usach getting into the semi-finals was enough to win an Olympic license. It is not a personal one, that is, another athlete from our country can go to the 2024 Olympic Games under this quota.
Ukraine could have obtained a license in the women’s tournament, but Anastasia Pavlova was unable to get past the quarter-final stage.
At the moment, 95 athletes from Ukraine have already received licenses to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games. 18 of them are football players, 16 are track and field athletes.
Soon the European Archery Championship will take place in the same Essen, where team licenses for the Olympics in Paris will be competed for.
