Nikola is recognized as the best for the third time in the last four seasons
Center Denver Nuggets Nikola Jokic named MVP of the regular season National Basketball Association.
In this category, the Serbian basketball player beat out Slovenian Luka Doncic from Dallas and Canadian Shay Gilgeous-Alexander from Oklahoma City Thunder.
Jokic was named NBA MVP for the third time in his career. Over the past four seasons, only once did the award go to Joel Embiid from Philadelphia.
Nikola’s regular season numbers are as follows: 79 matches, 26.4 points per game, 12.4 rebounds and 9 assists.
Denver is the reigning NBA champion. In the 2023/24 regular season, the team finished second in the Western Conference. In the first round of the playoffs, the Nuggets confidently beat the Los Angeles Lakers (4:1), but in the conference semifinals they already lost to Minnesota with a score of 0:2.
