Alexander took third place in the short track competition
Ukrainian cyclist Alexander Gudyma conquered bronze medal on European Mountain Bike Championship in category U-23.
Alexander took 11th place in the overall race of elite racers and youth in short track speed skating (XCC). His result was third among athletes in the U-23 category, 11 seconds behind the champion.
Briton Joseph Blackmore won gold in the youth competition, while Swiss Dario Lillo took second place. Simon Andreassen from Denmark became the European champion in the elite category.
The 2024 European MTB Championships take place in Keila Gradistei near the Romanian city of Brasov from May 9 to 12. On Friday the competition will feature a mixed team relay. Gudyma also plans to compete in the cross-country (XCO) U-23 event, which will take place on Saturday, May 11.
