The Ukrainian failed to make it to the semi-finals
Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Beindl completed performances at ITF W75 in Prague (Czech Republic).
In the quarterfinals, Beindl lost to the fourth seed of the event, the representative of the Czech Republic, Dominika Salkova. The meeting lasted two hours and 15 minutes.
The Ukrainian triumphed in the first set (6:3), but then Salkova turned the tide of the game – 6:1, 6:4. Let us note that in the final game Katerina led the score 4:1, but gave her opponent five games (of which three were “hers”) in a row.
At the tournament in Prague, Beindl played two games and was seeded fifth. The Ukrainian defeated the “neutral” tennis player Marina Melnikova in the first round, after which she triumphed over Andrea Mitu from Romania.
