Athletistic / Others. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) responded to reports that Russia could not make contributions to the organization due to various difficulties. Earlier, Russian Deputy Sports Minister Andrei Fedorov said that WADA refused to accept the contribution for 2023.
According to the official, WADA gives incorrect invoices for the transfer and also claims that the money is “dirty”.
“Currently, WADA is in contact with Russian government agencies in order to receive a contribution. Restrictions in the global banking system complicate this process,” a WADA representative was quoted as saying by TASS.
