Russian swimming champion Sofya Dyakova told that she is not going to change coaches and train abroad.
Dyakova won the 400m freestyle at the Russian Championships in April.

– Yes. We did not focus on short water in our preparation; long water was our priority.
— You have a rivalry with Anya Egorova at your distance. She trains abroad. Have you ever wanted to try it too?
— I do not envisage such a possibility. I have an excellent coach, I won’t go to another.

— Somewhere 8 km, somewhere 5 km. It depends on the stage of preparation and well-being.
— Do you like your distances or would you like to move to something shorter?
“Of course, if you choose between 400 and 1500m, I prefer 400m, but you also need to train for 1500m,” Dyakova told .
