The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia

The number of Ukrainian fans who will attend the rematch between the world heavyweight champion according to WBA, IBF and WBO has become known Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua August 20 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).

“If last year in London during the first fight between Usyk and Joshua at the 62,000-seat Tottenham Arena, about a thousand Ukrainians supported Sasha, most of whom represented our diaspora in the UK, then in Jeddah we cannot count on identical figures. But in any case, Alexander will not be left without our support. Small but close-knit groups of Ukrainians will fly in from Poland, Germany, France, Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, Austria, the UK, the US and Canada.”

“Fans from Ukraine will also arrive in Jeddah – those who have the opportunity to go abroad. In Saudi Arabia, we have a small diaspora that is also going to fight. More numerous Ukrainian diaspora in the UAE and they are also going to support Usyk. In total, we expect about 200 Ukrainians in Jeddah,” explained the fan tour curator Maxim Rozenko.

The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.

Last fall, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision to become world heavyweight champion for the first time.
