Former world light heavyweight champion Alexander Gvozdyk shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight for the title of absolute world champion between the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Alexander Usik and holder of the WBC heavyweight belt Tyson Fury.

I think he understands perfectly well where he needed to slow down and where he needed to rest. Therefore, I think we will see the best version of Sasha.”
“Usyk’s strengths? Footwork, quick combinations, defense, thanks to which Fury will miss a lot,” Alexander concluded.
The unification fight between Usik and Fury will take place on May 18. The list of other fights that will take place as part of the boxing evening in Saudi Arabia is also known. Among them is the fight between Ukrainian Daniel Lapin and Portuguese Octavio Pudivitra for the WBA Continental light heavyweight title.
The event will be hosted by Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The WBC proposes to reform the judges for the reporting fight, increasing their number to 5-6 people. Penalties for boxers who refuse to fight are $10 million.

As for Gvozdyk, on June 15 in Las Vegas he will fight with American David Benavidez on the undercard of the confrontation between WBA champion Gervonta Davis and Frank Martin.
