Silver medal at the national championship went to Uzhgorod Carpathians
Lvovskaya Galician became ahead of schedule champion of the Women’s Super League in handball.
Today Galician beat Uzhgorod in the final match of the 8th round of the Ukrainian championship Carpathians — 31:28. Let us note that after the first half, Vitaly Andronov’s team lost by three goals (15:18), but showed character and won.
The Galician has 66 points (22 wins, 2 losses) after 24 matches. The Lviv club is 12 points ahead of Karpaty three matches before the end of the Ukrainian championship.
Let us note that Karpaty won silver at the national championship ahead of schedule. Super League bronze will be played between Spartak Kyiv and KOSFK (Kiev region).
For the Galician, this Ukrainian champion title became the tenth in a row and the 10th in the history of the club. On June 8-9 in Kyiv, the Lviv team will play in the Final Four of the Ukrainian Handball Cup.
