Athletistic / Judo. Russian judoka Alice Startseva spoke about her fight for the bronze medal at the Grand Slam tournament in Astana (Kazakhstan). The day before, May 13, Startseva became the bronze medalist of the competition in the capital of Kazakhstan, defeating the representative of Mongolia Nominzul Dambadarzhaa in the fight for third place.
“I hate such opponents: you take them, but they always bend, and you just don’t know what to do with them, I can’t even reach them with my feet.
After the bronze medal, if I was a super artist and I drew in my head, I would draw behind the scenes of judo. What is behind each medal,” Startseva said, as quoted by Match TV.
Elis Startseva competes in the weight category above 78 kg. Russian judokas competed in Astana in neutral status, without a flag or national anthem.
