The Lviv club will compete in the UPL in the new season
As became known Sports ArenaUkrainian striker Sunderland Nazariy Rusin may return to Ukraine.
A number of UPL clubs are interested in the forward’s services. This is a lease with option to buy. One of the contenders for Nazariy is Lviv Carpathians.
At the beginning of September 2023, Rusin moved to Sunderland from Zorya, signing a four-year contract with an option to extend for another season. However, this season the player has not appeared on the field for the Black Cats since March due to injury. Nazariy has made 22 appearances for Sunderland in all competitions this season. He has two goals and one assist.
Karpaty leads the Championship group of the First League, ahead of Ingulets by three points with two rounds to go. Miron Markevich’s team secured early access to the UPL.
According to Sport Arena, defenders of SK Dnepr-1 Eduard Sarapiy and Alexander Svatok, as well as midfielder Valentin Rubchinsky, are in the sphere of interest of Karpaty for the summer transfer window.
